Meet some of our patients
We're proud to say that these people had such good outcomes that they were happy to share their OICM stories in the videos and interviews shown here.
Alphee can boast that he had the attention of two doctor brothers to replace his deteriorating shoulders and knees. Alphee likes to kid around with Matt and Jeff Bush about everything from football (maybe Alphee was as good as Brady) to heavy lifting in the garden (bird seed bags are no problem now!) to which Bush is the best doc.
This retired mailman told us, more than once, that he doesn't know why he waited so long to have knee surgery – after having it, he felt like a new man! Jerry shared how much he loved being a mail carrier, getting to know people on his route and enjoying all four seasons of Maine weather, even the cold, snow, and ice of our winters.
The whole time Sue talked with us, her hands were flying, crocheting another afghan for the patients at CMMC and Bridgton Hospital. For quite a while, delivering the blankets to the nurses was painful due to the osteoarthritis that has attacked Sue's joints. She's moving more easily now, after her four surgeries over the course of about eight years.
